How Does PRP Work?
PRP contains at least a dozen of different growth factors which stimulate hair growth. At Revital Trichology we follow a highly standardized procedure to extract a concentrated PRP to contain maximum growth factors for the best possible results. PRP also strengthens the existing hair and prevents further hair loss.

The Procedure of PRP Therapy
The first step is to draw the blood in right volume for better growth factor concentration from the patient from one of the veins from elbow. The blood is then centrifuged to seperate plasma and red blood cells Platelet Rich Plasma is then isolated from Platelet Poor Plasma PRP is injected in the scalp near hair follicles. The procedure is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks for approximately 4 to 5 sittings in the first year and thereafter one to two sittings in a year for maintenance.
